Auditions
We ask new members to come along to a rehearsal to see if the choir is the right fit for them.
Potential choir members will be asked to audition with the Choir Director at the following week’s rehearsal to place their voice within the choir.
You do not need to prepare anything beforehand or have anything ready to sing.
New members should be able to match pitch and copy a rhythm, and sight reading skills are great but not essential. An ability to read music is desirable.
Rehearsals
We rehearse Thursday nights 7:30-9:30pm in the choir room at North Balwyn Uniting Church.
Fees
A $60 joining fee is charged to all members starting with the choir.
Term fees are $110 per quarter, depending on the number of rehearsals booked for that term.
